Over £350 Raised in Charity Skydive

13 June 2007 - I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that on the 9th June I successfully jumped out of a plane at 13,000 ft. With your help I managed to raise over £350 for children's hospice, Julia's House, for which I am very thankful to all sponsors.

I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that on the 9th June I successfully jumped out of a plane at 13,000 ft. With your help I managed to raise over £350 for children's hospice, Julia's House, for which I am very thankful to all sponsors.

This truly was an adrenaline pumping experience, especially during the minute long 140mph freefall through the clouds - then sitting back and enjoying the view for 5 minutes while we gently floated back to land!

You can watch my jump online courtesy of a very well placed cameraman! I would like to mention that the trendy pink headwear I'm sporting was forced upon me and not my preferred choice!

Julia's House is a registered charity that cares for life-limited and life-threatened children throughout Dorset, the majority of whom are not expected to live into adulthood. Their dedicated team of nurses and carers supports the children and their families in their own homes and at Julia's House giving a much-needed break to parents who face the pressures of meeting the complex medical needs of their children, for weeks, months and often years.
